CELEBRATE WITH US!
In 2011, Sawyers Hall College will celebrate its 75th anniversary. To mark this occasion, there will be one event each month throughout the year, starting in January. The celebrations will be an opportunity for all members of the school community, as well as anyone from the wider community, to share and remember the many achievements of our college.
The first event to be held in January, will be the creation of a time capsule, which will be buried on the college site. Every student and member of staff will provide something that they want included, such as a small object, a series of photographs, a news clipping, a written piece on time spent at Sawyers Hall College.
Students will start creating their time capsule pieces during the week beginning 15th November 2010.
Members of the wider community are also invited to contribute their own time capsule pieces and an advert has been placed in the local press to inform people of the celebrations.
