Why choose to study drama at GCSE?

Lesley Williams from Basildon Youth Theatre (BYT) led several two hour sessions for all year 9 students which addressed this question. As well as focusing on the many benefits of studying drama, Lesley reflected on the need for good communication skills in the work environment.

The workshops included paired and group improvisation, some sign language and dance activities.
