The College’s A level Business class organised a number of charity events around the school as part their business course. The group were assessed on the way that they planned and managed the events, as well as their handling of business fundamentals such as finance, marketing and production.
Their target was to raise money for Cancer Research, a charity that all members of the class felt strongly about. A representative from Cancer Research spoke to all Sixth Form students about the charity and how the money raised will help. All together the group raised £625 by running a number of events, such as Sixth Form BBQ, Non-Uniform days, Cakes Sales, Lower School “Guess the teacher” competition and a Neon Party at Bar West One.
