BEST EVER RESULTS AT SAWYERS HALL COLLEGE
The GCSE results released today have improved yet again on the previous year and are the highest the school has ever achieved. These results reflect a 20% improvement at 5 A*-C since the summer of 2006. Headteacher, Mr Stephen Capper, said:
“I am delighted that the hard work of our students and staff and the support of parents has ensured that examination results have risen to their highest ever level.
Over 58% of students gained 5 A*-C and I am extremely proud of the achievement of all our students.
In particular, both Alex Hanson and Hannah Kitchener achieved 14.5% A*-C passes with 8 at A*/A. Steven Locke and Ben Mellows achieved 14.5% A*-C passes with 6 at A*/A.
Ryan Locke achieved 9 A*/A grades and Danielle Prowse achieved over 10 A*/A.
