CC4G Girls Get Animated!
Models of body parts and animals, flexible figures and Plasticine were just some of the materials that the CC4G girls had at their disposal to create animated videos.
The animation workshop, which took place on Thursday 5th June, was coordinated by Anglia Ruskin University at Chelmsford, who provided transport, lunch, a tour of the campus and an informative day learning about animation techniques.
The girls had the opportunity to put their newly acquired animation skills into practice, after creating storyboards, building 'stages' and preparing their models.
Then it was 'lights, camera, action!' as they filmed their animations.
Mr Bristow, Miss Collins and Mrs Knox, were very impressed with the organisation of the workshop and more trips to Anglia Ruskin University are being planned so that other students can learn about animation and university life.
" It was great and learning how to animate was great too!" one of the girls observed and another summed the day up as "Enjoyable, fun, fantastic!"
