College Council

A newly formed College Council, with representatives from all years has been elected this academic year, following a series of interviews held by senior staff and the senior student team.

The Council is divided into five committees:

 Charities
 Community
 Facilities
 Teaching and Learning
 Sport

Each group has a chair and vice chair from the Senior Student Team and each chair is responsible for organising regular meetings for their committee to plan and discuss their long term, medium term and short term targets. These targets in turn have been shared with the Senior Leadership Team and the staff as a whole.

The Senior Student Team is part of the overall College Council, and its membership comes from the current Year 13 cohort of students who went thorough a rigorous application process. This team meets weekly to discuss key priorities from the action plans of each College Council committee. Senior staff also attend the meetings to help the Council to achieve its objectives.
