Course Introduction:
This course provides students with

discussion, written work, and independent study using a variety
of resources.

theme of ‘Divided Society: Race & Religion’
from different perspectives.

behind the study of History before applying them to topics.
• At AS, students study theories of historical explanation and
the role of sources in enquiry. At A2 they look at interpretations
and significance.
• Individuals, societies, events, developments and issues are studied
in broad historical content along with continuity and change. The
examination of social, cultural, religious & ethnic
diversity also takes place.
