Course Introduction:
The course studied is designed to encourage students to:
1. Have an entry into College or University degree courses in a variety of related subjects such as Media and Business courses.
2. Entry to College and University degree courses in ICT courses.
3. Entry to training courses within specialist ICT industries.
4. Gain employment within Business using a variety of ICT skills.
5. Have a personal development in a new skill and interest for life.

Entry Requirements:
To succeed in this course students will need to have attained:
GSCE Grade B in ICT and a C grade in English

Course Assessment:
AS Level (Year 12)
Unit 1: Life in the Information Age
Create an e-book to demonstrate your knowledge (Coursework)

Unit 2: The Digital Economy
Create an e-book to demonstrate your knowledge (Coursework)

Unit 3: The Knowledge Worker
Controlled Test at the computer to show spreadsheet skills in handling data to make decisions

A2 Level (Year 13)
Unit 4: Project Planning
Create an e-book to show you can plan and manage large projects to monitor their progress in making sure they are a success (Coursework)

Unit 5: Multimedia
Use Animation software to create a product for a real-life project (Coursework)

Unit 6: Database Skills
