Health Awareness Week
A number of outside speakers come into college to talk to
sixth form students as part of their citizenship curriculum. Students
receive advice about issues such as blood and organ donation, cancer
awareness
and the sexually transmitted disease Chlamydia. Many students register
to become donors and take advantage of the voluntary Chlamydia
testing session.
Students gain a vast amount of information on health issues not normally talked
about and are well prepared to look after their health as
they head to university or to the world of work.
